Mark Brandon is a science-fiction/fantasy writer living in Leicester, UK.

His first book - a collection of 12 steampunk short stories called ‘The Colossus of the Thames & Other Tales’ was published in March 2021.

Mark is a proud member of Leicester Writers Club, and won the Club’s short story competition in 2023 for his story ‘Title to Come’.

Mark’s story ‘The Forest King’ featured in the SpaceCat Press anthology ‘Bark and Bone’ (2023). He was also editor’s choice for 2022 on the Tiny Bookcase podcast, for his short story ‘Luscious’, written specially for the podcast.

He is currently working on an epic fantasy novel and diverse other writing projects.
